All three of these sisters and their father Riley VICKERS are bur at Owen's Chapel Cemetery, Danner Community, Fannin County, TX. In the 1850 census there was also a Henderson VICKERS, age 32, living with Riley's family. Riley was listed as 43 in the 1850 census and 50 in the 1860 census, b. NC. Catharine VICKERS was listed as 32 and 42, respectively. There is a Riley VICKERS who m. Catharine LYNN on 22 Feb 1836 in Orange Co, NC. Could this be my Riley and Catharine? I am beginning a search on James Vickers Family from Laurens County Ga. From his will written Sept. 1853, I find that he had a son Ashley E Vickers and a daughter Eugenia, my grandmother.
